Vince Foy and Deb Yonker established their agricultural career in 1982 on a pasture-based dairy farm in Huntington, Vermont named Lewis Creek Jerseys. In 1985 they purchased 272 acres in the rural Northeast Kingdom, where they would continue to grow their herd of Jerseys and raise a family. As stewards of the land and of their animals, Vince and Deb transitioned the farm to certified organic production in 1995, one of the early dairy farms to do so in the state. In 2000, the farm shifted from dairy to meat production, gaining the name ‘Badger Brook Meats’, so named by the brook that cascades through the farm’s back woods.
Badger Brook Meats offers certified organic beef from the farm's Angus herd, in addition to naturally raised pork and lamb. Badger Brook Meats also offers custom boarding options for dairy heifers from other local farms, and sells wholesale timber in the winter.
From our farm’s pastures to your family's kitchen table, Badger Brook Meats is pleased to offer delicious, high quality meat at an affordable price. Thank you for choosing Badger Brook Meats and supporting local, organic agriculture.
